Love and Lies is a commissioned album artwork for a four track CD by local singer and songwriter Daniel Barrie. The design of the art work is split into the four songs and incorporates the emotional and visual responses to each track. Starting clock wise the songs run in the following order; Living a Lie, Empty Bed, Yesterday’s Stubble and Take it All Back. The overall concept of the album is a portrayal of the cyclic journey of love, in this case a young man’s journey in finding out about himself during the perils of love and loss. It is showing that love, like loss, has a ripple effect that not only affects our emotions and lives, but those who co-inhabit our life as well.
